What do you need in getting started?

Getting Ready

Here are some lists of what you need to start your PTC business.

1. You need to have a computer with an internet connection.
It is not advisable to use computers in computer shops since most PTC sites only allow one I.P address per user. Others may have used the computers with the same PTC sites and you might be suspected of cheating.

2. You need to know basic internet applications.

You don't need to be a graduate of a computer course. Basic knowledge is enough.

3. You need to have an e-mail account.

You may have multiple accounts in different sites. You can have one with Yahoo; one with Gmail; one with MSN; or your personal account using your website and other trusted sites.

4. You need to have a money processor account.

This is needed for payments when you reach payout or when you decide to pay for upgrade or buy referrals, or other products/services you might want to purchase online.

Click to the banners to register.

Many PTC sites are using Alert Pay since Paypal has blocked many PTC sites to protect its interest. Some use E-gold, others Moneybookers, etc. Registration in these money processors is FREE, though have different service fees.

5. You need a notebook or something to list your PTC programs.

Don't rely too much on your memory. Most of the time, it will fail you. This notebook is used to list down the PTC sites you are a member with; your username and password; your paypal, e-gold, moneybookers, alertpay secrets is also in this notebook. If anything happens, at least all the information you need is with you.

It can also be used to track down your earning updates.

6. You need to check the legitimacy of the PTC site or you will be wasting your time.

When I first started, I recommended the sites to some of my friends and they joined. Unfortunately, I discovered that it is a scam site. So I need to inform my friends to stop. Am I embarrassed? Oh, a great deal.

Therefore, before you join, check its potentials: how much it pays for every ads clicked; how many ads does it serves; how much is referral commissions; how much is the minimum payout; what is the payment options, and other information like do they have a working forum, or does the admin of that site honest.
